Privacy Policy

Short version: this calculator runs entirely in your browser. We don't have accounts, we don't set tracking cookies, and we never receive or store the numbers you type in.

What we collect

• Your calculations: never leave your device. There is no server processing and no database.
• Accounts: there are none, so there's nothing to breach.
• Cookies: we don't set any tracking or advertising cookies ourselves.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool (Plausible) or Google Analytics 4 to count page visits in aggregate. These tools don't see your rent amounts, dates, or calculation results.

Advertising

The site reserves empty ad slots that are collapsed until an ad network is added. If advertising is enabled in the future, the ad provider may use its own cookies per its privacy policy, and this page will be updated to name it.

Shareable links

When you copy a shareable link, your inputs are encoded in the URL itself. Anyone you send that link to can see those inputs — only share it with people you trust, like your landlord or roommate.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date below. Last updated: October 2026.
