This site exists for one reason: prorated rent math should take ten seconds, not ten minutes with a phone calculator and a nagging doubt. We built the calculator we wished existed — instant, transparent about every step, and honest about the fact that three different methods can give three different answers.

What we believe

• Tools should be free. No signup walls, no “enter your email for the result.”
• Math should be shown. Every result includes the exact steps with your numbers.
• Privacy is a feature. Calculations run entirely in your browser; we never see your rent or dates.

What we're not

We're not lawyers, accountants, or property managers. The calculator provides estimates based on the standard proration methods — it isn't legal or financial advice. Always check your lease, and your local tenant laws, before acting on a number.
